Finalist for entrepreneur of the year award 2007!

Just received the greatest news from Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2007 committee that I have been selected as finalist! Wow, definitely couldn’t believe my eyes when I received the letter.

Over 100 entrepreneurs were nominated & 25 were shortlisted last month. 25 of us went through a 3hour interview process which was a great experience.

Now 14 selected as finalist. 11 for Business Achievements and 3 for Social Achievements. I feel truly honored to be selected among the greatest entrepreneurs from Indonesia to receive the business achievements award.

I never really expected this. 2 years ago, I read news about the award, thought to myself, it would be the greatest achievement and award to receive after receiving:

1. The Worlds Youngest Chartered Marketer from The Chartered Institute of Marketing and Museum Rekor Indonesia

2. The Best Young Marketer 2005 by SWA Sembada, Indonesian Marketing Association and Markplus.

3. The Successful Online Business by World Internet Mega Summit Singapore 2006

But I didn’t think that I was ready since I need to be nominated in the first place. So I put it at the back of my head and went on with my business.

To my pleasant surprise, in Jun 2007. I received the nomination letter from Ernst & Young that Mr Sudhamek - The Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 Winner has put in a nomination for me! Wow, that really came as a surprise since I don’t personally know Mr. Sudhamek. I couldn’t let my nominator down so I submitted the required materials and went through the interview process.

Then came the news of being the 25 shortlisted. And now, I’m finalist to receive the business achievement award! 14 out of 100!

This has proven ‘The Secret - law of attraction’ is valid. When you want something bad enough, consciously or unconsciously, you are working towards it & attracts it to yourself.

Millionaire Mind - The Secret

Have you watched “The Secret” or read the book? I am sure you have heard about it if not watched it. The Secret is a remarkable movie. Well not precisely a movie as it is more of wise men telling about ” The Secret”

So what is it about? The Secret is about - The Law of Attraction and positive thinking. When you think positive, you will attract positive things and likewise when you think negative things, you will attract negative energy around you.

I totally recommend you take some time to read or even better watch it as it will truly change your life. After taking some time to watch The Secret with my wife, it occurred to us that we always have that secret in us that we do not realize. It reminded us of what we have to achieve in life and we immediately took actions and re-evaluate our goals and found that we could achieve even more than we had planned. We re-set our goals and within one week have seen positive results.

I know many people are very skeptical about these kind of things. I even read from someone online stating ” The Secret - bought the book, nothing changes” First, I hope this person did not just buy a book and hope some miracle will happen. You must first read it :-) and think deeply of what you can do with your life. You must want something bad enough to attract it. If you think it will never happen then you are absolutely right as mentioned in the video, the universe will answer you “Your Wish is My Command” ( I really like that part :-) )

Anyway, I’ve uploaded these quotes from The Secret - Law of Attraction that will remind us or our purpose in life and be grateful for what we have been blessed with. Pink is The New Blog?

Funny name? I thought it was. Why would someone name a blog like this? If you ever think about blogging and you like celebrity news, you probably would blog about it.

Seems like the most popular blogs are all about celebrity news. Pink is the New Blog was voted by Yahoo as one of the most searched blogs in 2006!

Interestingly, the blog has a black background and all pink words and letters! At first I thought the name was The NEW Pink Blog but it really is Pink is the New Blog and it nothing to do with the celebrity PINK!

This blog has defies the theory of short and sweet branding ad naming of blogs or domain names. Hence this just prove that content is still KING! The blog is not even self hosted, its a blogger blog. Something for us to learn from this. Wanna check out PINK is the NEW BLOG ?

12 Month Millionaire Review and Wholesale Dropship Profits I was listening the 12 month Millionaire audio seminar where Vincent was sharing his money making strategies by selling membership to wholesale products such as car audio, computers, printers, softwares and viagra!

I must say he really is a genius as I was listening through how he realize that by selling membership for members to buy wholesale products and how his suppliers would dropship the products purchase to his customers hence saving all delivery and inventory costs.

I then went in search how this strategy can be applied and found a good source of wholesale and dropship suppliers. I found this resource where there is no annual membership for you to get a list of these dropship suppliers. What you can do with this resources is either:

1. find these dropshippers and sell their products through eBay;

2. create your own membership site and provide these information;

3. do something similar to what Vince did, print out the list and sell it;

4. purchase these products and sell them in your brick and motar store; or even

5. purchase these products for your own use.

The eagle has the longest life-span of its’ species.

There are times when we need to send large attachments (files) to our friends, clients or customers where we are unable to attach to the emails. Most emails only allow 1MB of attachment which may not be enough for big projects, image filled proposals or huge photo files.
